Liz, in her bunk, playfully pushes against the bottom of the bunk above her. "Just relax to beat the heat." Francesca raises her left arm to spray something (deoderant?) on her armpit while grinning at the camera, then lowers her arm to spray the right arm, revealing her completely badass upper-arm tattoo. Maybe it's a lighthouse? Also has elephants on her left forearm, and something else (a floral pattern? waves?) on her right bicep. In his bunk, shirtless, Bernardo talks about staying cool "with this beautiful fan". Liz sprays him with a spray bottle; he laughs. She sprays Brian [Johnson] at the galley. Shot of someone (Annalise?) and Francesca splayed out in the bow, sleeping. Liz, in her bunk: "I just like helping other people out." She talks about how to deal with the heat in her bunk. Shots of Annalise on the foredeck, stacking in the bow. Francesca taking her hands off the wheel. Martin, sitting to leeward, talks about how they're closing up with the leaders. Drone shot from astern. Annalise in the bow stacks forward and talks about closing on the leaders. Slomo shot of Frederico on the helm.Liz, below, smiling. "Basically, Lukey had one. He went hammering down a wave, nosedived, the rudder's came out of the water, I think. The cockpit filled up with water, and he was heeled over so much that the water came flying down the hatch. Because we were heeling over the wrong way. It went straight on me in my bunk." New socks were wet, boots filled with water, bunk now unusable so they have to share a bunk with the OBR. "Yeah." She nods. "Got a bit damp, really. Good day at the office." Crash cam footage from stern cam of the nosedive with Lucas on the wheel. Someone else is trimming the main behind him; Elodie is on the aft pedestal. She moves forward (in preparation for releasing the headsail if they gybe?), but Lucas gets it back. Slomo spray. Washing machine.Shot of Stacey's hat drying on a winch in the cockpit. Stacy talks in the cockpit about how it was wet for the first few days, and now they're able to dry stuff out. Shot below of a damaged sail being dried out, and an inflated PFD. Nick, shirtless in the bow, talks about the PFD: "We were doing a peel the other day, and Tom decided he didn't want to be part of the bow team any more, so he automatically inflated, and became part of the back of the boat... So basically we hang this up to remind Tom of his weak moment. Tom: "I believe I completed the peel." Shots of Tom, Stacey, and Nick patching the sail in the bow. Stacey, back in the cockpit, talks about getting better rest and food now that conditions have improved. POV shot of Martin preparing food in the galley. Shot of someone sleeping below with sea boots hanging next to them. Tom, at the wheel, talks about airing his boots out, and giving his feet "some aeration". Shot of Tom's bare feet. Shot of Tom adjusting keel (for less heel?); you can hear the engine running to power the hydraulics. Stacey moves some socks while joking about "maybe you and he can have a competition." Martin: "Are those yours, Stacey?" Stacey: "No; I think they might be Tony's. I'm not breathing, though." Shot of Tony (I think) below, watching a video on a tablet on the bottom of the bunk above him. In the cockpit, SiFi explains to Nick how some bit of dental-repair filling has come out of his mouth where a wisdom tooth was recently extracted and the hole filled in. He shows Martin the bit of stuff from his pocket. SiFi: "A replacement part of my face."Kyle, shirtless in his bunk, laughing: "I was pretty broken this morning. Haven't had a lot of sleep, so I'm looking forward to getting a few hours now before we gybe back. I'm pretty broken, but this is just the beginning, so it's only going to get worse." Richard: "Is this what you expected?" Kyle: "Yeah; we've done a bit of training, and this is what we've trained for. Still very inexperienced, still have a lot to learn. We haven't had consecutive days downwind, which is what we're going to have now. So I think the next few days are gonna be tough."
